PS3 exclusives, best graphics on any console?

Hey, I don't agree with Gears 2 looking better than MGS4. Why did MGS4 win many best graphics awards? I'm not trying to be a prick, but I for one, "don't agree on that".

A lot of people here think that MGS4 had some great, but flawed graphics. Most notably the textures. Of course it's all opinion, but Gears 2 won a lot of graphics awards too I'd bet, and I think that most people, when we had a discussion on the subject, thought Gears 2 was a flat out winner.

In reality, I've played them back to back, and Gears 2 really does have better graphics, imo. Uncharted 1 has better graphics than MGS4.

Yeah, both games got a good number of best graphics award. And yeah, I clarified it's just my opinion, but at the same time, it is debatable.

 

The part that really wow'ed me graphics-wise was the fight with Ocelot at the very end.

 

This is one thing I never quite understood: People say Uncharted 1 has some of the best graphics ever (which I agree with), but it didn't win many awards. Instead, the runner-ups were Mass Effect (which does look great), Assassin's Creed, Crysis, and Call of Duty 4, I believe (I think BioShock too). Now MGS4, on the other hand, won quite a lot of best graphics awards along with Gears of War 2, but people seem to claim that Gears of War 2 had the better graphics hands down, like it's an undebatable fact. They're pretty close, IMHO.
