Some more history and science about Jesus' crucifixion. Supposidly, when Jesus died there was a solar eclipse and an Earth quake. Historians record major events like this and NASA (using physics) has scientific data for solar eclipses throughout history.

Not suprisingly, there were solar eclipses around the Eastern Europe and the Middle East at this time, but they do not coincide with Jesus's death at Passover. The closest solar eclipse to Jesus death actually occurred in November of 29 AD, and Jesus died in the Spring of 30 AD.
