My question is...

If the PS3's hardware is factually inferior to the XBox 360's with respect to a less powerful GPU and the lack of eDRAM (thanks to eDRAM, the XBox360 avoids some AA, buffer and alpha blending issues), BUT can run games as those aforementioned, how could it be with the same GPU and eDRAM (and what about unified RAM)? Ok, this question may seem stupid because this isn't the case at the end, but it helps to note the point that I'm trying to show up.

The answer is... "teh Cell". Seriously, thanks to the Cell, developers can free up some work from the GPU, so they have more room to improve the graphics. Naughty Dog mastered the use of the SPUs. Thanks to this, we (well, those who own it ) can enjoy the technical marvel that Uncharted 2 is. For the first time, we're seeing how a powerful CPU makes a difference; it's not just about the more powerful GPU.

By the way, I'm not saying that the difference is that enormous, but it is enough to outperform its competitor in some cases, if developers know how to squeeze its possibilities.

^^In my humble opinion.
