Firstly the 360 pad is that good for FPS's. And 2) this video is why so many 360 Halo gamers say they could waste any PC Halo gamer on a Keyboard and mouse. Years of practice with a pad and Halo will do this.

I wanna get this for my controller.  Its supposed to help out with aiming in FPS.
