The hype really is justified. I would give it a 10/10 so far and I'm halfway through.
The story, characters, voice acting, script, humor, animation, graphics, sound, music, action gameplay sequences, puzzles, exploration, balance of it all is soooooo good. And thats not even including the excellent multi-player. This will most definitely be my game of the year for 2009.
