Sony CEO sees stalemate with HD-DVD

Wow, great post Lord, that was a really good article. His story in there about the family with burn-in marks on the tv, and watching in 4:3, and using RCA jacks reminds me about my ex-girlfriends step-dad. It was really funny, he just got a new 23" flat panel HD display and set it all up in their living room, and when he and the son sat down to watch, they were like, OH WOW, that looks so much better. BLAH BLAH. Obviously it would look better, the old tv wasn't so hot, and it was monday night football, so they were in a good mood already. Anyways, I watched him plug in 1 of the component connections, I think it was the blue, into the yellow video in for RCA. Now, the picture still showed up mind you, but I was just scratching my head, like, is this guy for real? The colors don't even match, you know, the colors, so retarded people can still match the colors and not screw up. The next day when the family was gone, I switched it for him, and forgot to set up the Surround Sound again...I just wanted to watch a movie. When he came back that night, he got so pissed because it was messed up, my GF told him that I had made a couple changes, and he proceeded to flip out on me, WHY YOU TOUCH THIS< BLAH BLAH, EXPENSIVE, BLAH!! I was like, well, I have 2 HD tvs at home, both over 42" and am an electronics guru of sorts, and you didnt have an HD picture coming through to the TV, so I decided to be nice and fix it for you since you connected it improperly. Haha, the look on his face was priceless. Not the type of guy who likes to be corrected, or told he is wrong, especially by the boyfriend, of the step-daughter he doesn't like in the first place.

    The fact he never liked ME to begin with probably didn't help, and that he thought he was the man of the house in the electronics department.  Poor guy, in real life he was just working with 5.1, and I'm working with 7.1 Extended BABY!!!
