It's a good game, though a lot of the set piece moments (whilst epic and therefore don't detract from the experience) are very standard shooter stuff.
It's definitely no where near the best FPS of all time (I would say you'd have a more valid argument for putting Halo as the best FPS of all time then this game, not that I believe Halo is anywhere near the top), but it's a great game. A Must RENT for all PS3 owners and you would not be stupid if you bought it either.
