I took a sociology class in collage. The teacher was about the ugliest woman I had ever met.
There were about 50 of us in class, and she was on the topic of religion. She asked with a show of hands how many were Jewish in the class. I raised my hand, and so did another.
She said that's about right, the average is 2%. To make her more right, I commented that my mother was not Jewish, only my father. She said "It's very common actually for Jewish men to marry outside the Religion". For the purpose of making a joke, I responded with "well I would too. You ever see a Jewish woman?". The class laughed, right up until she responded with "Yes. I am Jewish".
Went from an A to a B- in 3 weeks. At least I passed.
