I agree with that, the PS3 has never been an expensive electronic device, maybe an expensive console but not an expensive piece of electronic. I also want them to innovate and sell it as much as it worth it. The peoples that have less money can buy it a while after. But this can only work if the competition doesnt release a cheap console with good games, this was the problem this gen. Xbox is pretty cheap but almost the same console as before, the games are good so it is selling really well. But for core gamer, encouraging xbox instead of PS3 slow the rate at which we will get better game (technologically speaking). With all the multi platform crap, developers developing on 360 so they dont have to learn how to program on PS3 (saying its easier and faster on 360 but in fact just dont know how to do it on PS3), and in the end sell as much or more is surely slowing what can and should be better by now. I know there is 360 fan all around shouting the 360 can do the same as the PS3, but this is fact far from reality. The thing is that we still didnt had a lot of chance to withstand that by now because developers doest need to push the limit when they know they will sell as much by releasing their title on 360. If you want HD console and gaming in general to grow better but your also a core gamer like me, stop encouraging Xbox 360 the more you can, and only purchase games on it when it is exclusive.
