^^ just because the character is old doesn't mean it isn't original. i don't think any other game played the way mario galaxy did, with planetary gravity and pointer use with a shooting element tossed in as well, not to mention the music which was certainly original :/
i'm only replying to your "serious answer", most of the others were clearly jokes (har har).
