So, the ps3 being sold for as much as $600.00 was a mistake. Now think about this, Sony must have learned so much about pricing. Although I am happy that I own an original 60 gig ps3, I'd have to say that I am pleased to feel that when the ps4 is released there is no way it will end up being so expensive. In regards to the ps3 still being able to survive is amazing. Afterall, it won't be to long before the ps3 reaches 30 million consoles sold. To me, this has actually ended up being a success with much more potential to come. There is a chance that the ps3 could end up surpassing the 360 (doubtful), but not to long ago there were many threads suggesting that Sony should/will get out of the console war. Well, as things are going it looks that Sony will continue to be a major player in the console wars for years to come.

I tried reading your post several times and... well... it has no point... a few inept statements... but no point...

"Sony must have learned so much about pricing." --> PSP Go ?

"the ps3 still being able to survive is amazing" VS "to me, this has actually ended up being a success"  ROUND 1 - FIGHT !

In defence of the OP:

The PSP Go is 199.00 GBP. The DSi 149.99 GBP. Not quite the same as $600.00 vs whatever price the rest were. ..at least IMO.

After 3yrs I think we have long  passed round one. ...at least IMO.
