Not really. He did for the first half... back when EVERYONE was on his side... and democrats were signing up left and right to invade countries who had no connection to the war on terror.
Then they gave him about a harsh a ride as you've seen since Jimmy Carter... once everyone decided the whole thing was a bad idea and started looking for a scapegoat, rahter then excepting the fact that nearly everyone was for the war. (Except me.)
Which happens to be the worst part of US politics... the ability of the majority to slink away without any payment for mistakes while a few scapegoats get blamed for it all. Leaving the same people with bad decision making skills in office.
Both the Democrats and Republicans should of been replaced last few elections with newer members... and the media for that matter. The Media shouldn't be giving ANYONE an easy time even when things are good.
