| inverted3reality said: how is it a below average third person shooter? the cover mechanics are identical to gears of war, the set pieces are equal if not better, the only things it has lacking are the vehicle scenes and the enemies soaking up too much damage. (though, they do in gears of war as well, people just dont point it out.) Below average is the incorrect term. It's average in the shooting department, while gears is phenominal in the shooting department. The game gets an 8 for shooting, a 10 for story, a 10 for graphics ( at the time, no equal on a console, I still think it is more technologically advanced than gears 2, but the masses say no so I just go with the flow, it certainly looks better, anyway.) a 6 for replay a 6 for length and a 8 for mechanics. You're left with at least an 8. |
I meant to say a below average shooter.
And all though I didn't like Gears. I did find the cover system a bit better in it. One problem that i had in Uncharted was that the enemies were just to damn small. When I am playing on a 13in sdtv I had a hard time seeing the enemies is Uncharted as well as the fact that it took quite a bit to kill the enemies.
And another feature that was far superior in Gears was that I could play the entire game in co-op. Making it almost bareable. That along with a couple of different paths added a little replay value(Not really)
So I would have given Gears an 8
And my score of 7 stands for Uncharted
