LOL,Gordon Freeman beat Snake,Link and now beating Mario

I voted for Snake to win the Gamespot Greatest Hero Contest.I didn't really think Snake would win cause MGS is a niche game and only played by hardcore gamers.

Snake : 49.91%

Gordon Freeman : 50.08%

I thought it would be a close call between Link and Mario.But the surprise package is Half Life's Gordon Freeman.I know Half Life huge PC game and Gordon Freeman has a big following but it is nothing compared to Nintendo's two hardcore games Mario and Zelda.

First he beat Zelda

Link : 40.60%

Gordon Freeman : 59.40%
