Alas, your story is going to be replicated for hundreds of thousands of 360 owners this holiday season. US consumers continue to buy the 360, mostly because US consumers will buy just about anything (hell, just look at our cars, or our health insurance system, or our politicians), but European and East Asian consumers are refusing to drink the Koolaid.

I'm still stunned that Microsoft, one of the most profitable companies on the planet, thought it could get away with releasing this kind of substandard hardware. They're clearly an empire in decline.
