please read my posts upto now, I'll repeat anyway though.
i'm not talking about "any game" here, were talking about top games of the industry and an 8 is a bad score for such games. and i explained what I meant by top games and how that is determined, no one objected to the definition of that phrase.
@highlighted: exactly my point, nobody likes the same stuff, and some people dislike things for no reason, should that opinion effect other people if it isn't rightly justified? like i said in other posts, i don't like shooters therefore i won't like Halo.. etc is that enough of a reason for me to diss the game? i think not...
and i can just as easily make up any reason i wanted for "justifying" my opinion like when that 3/10 rating said "I found the orientation of Galaxy to be disorienting and uncomfortable" where only part of the levels in mario galaxy were round and you could easily tell that from any video/trailer of the game... does that justify a 3 from a suposedly objective person? quality has to account for something...
apply that to people who prefer a certain company, console or franchise, maybe they prefer a certain genre or whatever... all i'm saying is that it happens, i have no doubt about that.
I didn't mean a particualar group of people or place though, sorry if you got that message.
