In science terms, fact = theory with peer-reviewed, solid evidence. The theory of the Big Bang is confirmed by a lot of evidence that hasn't been disputed credibly for decades, is the only theory we have with evidence to support it (yes there are variations but they all have at least one Big Bang event in them). The Big Bang is about as confirmed as our explanation for water being a liquid, and we'd need an even more well supported theory to replace it if it was disproved. On the other hand, Creationism and similar have no evidence, make no predictions we can test to strongly confirm them, and would change to avoid whatever objections scientists could propose. |
Well I do agree with you there is some evidence for it, all I'm saying is people who call it FACT. Like 2+2=4 is a fact. I believe in creation but I don't go around saying its what is right. That's the only thing I was trying to say.
