Try and pick up some of the older games second hand. Like Resistance:Fom, Heavenly Sword, Warhawk and Gran Turismo: Prologue.
I often see them in bargain bins for around 15-20 euro. Resistance:Fom is one of the few games that supports 7.1 if you're lucky enough to have such a sound system.
Also I quite enjoy Fat Princess and Wipeout HD which are pretty cheap on psn.
