In those threads i don't vote unless i have a positive score to give. Meaning 8-10.

So 8 and above is positive, correct? Tell that to the individual in that thread who claimed that "Sony fans that gave Halo 3: 8.2s, 8.5s, 8.9s" etc, etc.....were trying to downplay the game...

it may be positive for some games with lower standards/quality but an 8 is a very bad score when we're talking about highly acclaimed games by reveiwers standards and the majority of gamers opinions (unlike people who literally hate the franchise/console/genre of the game).

check out what i said about my GPA :)

Which if true, is an utter shame...

8/10 = 80. Since when was being 20 points from perfect "very bad"? I say that's a flawed review system...

i didn't say that an 8 was a bad score in a normal situation but compare that same 8 to the average of what a highly rated game actually recieved, big difference.

I think that if there's a big difference between one or two people's score and the vast majority of gamer's and reviewers' scores, well.. guess who's more likely to be honest.

and btw, i'm not saying everybody has to like the same thing, but if someone's going to rate a game they hate low knowing it's a good game, i think that's wrong :(

but i agree that our review system is a flawed one...
