Reread what I said, I said I prefer a good story line and acting performances.
Would you mind it if Gears of War's story telling and acting performances would be top notch, instead of being pretty miserable?
I said I thought Gears of War was a fine game, but IMO overhyped due to various reasons, amongst these reasons the points mentioned above.
