Judging from the more political posts, all countries here have those politicians that propose legislation or inquiries - or just flat out make laws or policies - that are just to stupid to comprehend. Or shames your nation in such a way that it makes your blood boil faster then being stuck in a traffic jam friday night because Kanye West is holding an acceptance speech on the freeway.
I want a thread on these people. I want to hear why you hate them, I want to hear what retarded ideas they have put forth. I would prefer to not see any big politicians or major legislation otherwise this thread will just run rampant with people bashing or defending Obama's healthcare reforms. Local/state politicians, ministers, city council, opposition, those would be perfect.
I'd like to propose Geert Wilders myself, which some of foreigners (at least on British/German side) might have heard of.

Wilders is frontman of his own party after leaving the "conservative" (we actually call them liberal but they are center-rightishly positioned) VVD to form his even more right PVV. He has gained alot of support for his harsh stance on muslim-immigration and people (Maroccans mostly) by pushing a rather anti-islamist agenda. His constant fear-mongering and subsequent popularity was a thorn in my side but last couple of weeks he managed to get completely derailed. Some of his "ideas" last couple of weeks:
- During the "adression of the state" where the ruling parties present their plans and budgets for the upcoming year, Geert chipped in with a "headscarf tax". He demanded a €1000 (or $1475) permit or tax on all headscarfs. Nothing on Hebrew caps, or Christian cruxifixes because they DON'T result in what he called a "street-defiling view"
- Continued demand for a research that should look into the cost of muslim immigration. The minister refuses thus far because the national research-organization CPB already made a similair research yet, Wilders tries to get her into court on account of not doing his administrative duties. Their own numbers thus far point to a €230.000 cost per family - without calculating the reveneus brought in by these families...
- A research into why a lot of high potential authentic Dutch are migrating every year. His reasoning: people are fleeing the "islamification" of the Netherlands. Most people's reasoning: More interesting business-opportunities abroad, a lot of third-generation immigrants who have by now been naturalised as Dutch leaving and, according to some newspaper-reactions people fleeing the current polarizing climate of the Netherlands...
Mind you, this is just last month. His latest ideas did cost Wilders a few "virtual seats" meaning that if elections were held now he'd get 27 out of 150 parlement seats which is still earily close to the 31 he had a few weeks prior and a lot more then the 9 real seats he has now...
So, tell me, what politician aggrevates you and why?!
