With the antitrust case proceedings under former president Bill Clinton for instance it looked afterwards like Microsoft got a get out of jail for free card under fromer President Bush. Of course Microsoft heavily funded Bush' campaign, which in most democratic countries would be illegal. It's not just that Microsoft is a US company, the bulk of companies which testified against Microsoft's monopoly abuse were American. But I think if most of them were European there wouldn't even have been investigations in the United States in the first place. |
We were not talking about government administrations and how they dealt with Microsoft over the years. You said the US must really love MS for it to get good press on Natal. And previously you have said there is a US/UK press conspiracy to bolster MS and put down Sony. Are you saying that both sets of press act under the orders of former or current U.S. Presidents? You still have never addressed all the good press given to Sony on many of its past efforts (save Betamax perhaps) and all the current bad press given to multiple Microsoft product lines such as Vista and Zune. In a nutshell you have not justified your theory at all. Understand?
