lmao @ ph4nt, you are one funny little dude....

blow from who??? you???

Uncharted 1 could have been much, much better with more time.

with much much larger budgets.

exactly my point, they are bigger games and the developers are taking their sweet time with it, plus SE hasn't been know for their timely releases of games.

oh sure, develope a game with graphics that are miles ahead of competition and setting at a metascore of 97 in 2 years is nothing spectacular.

Miles ahead? maybe a few feet. Gears 2 was made in roughly the same time and it is one of the highest rated games this gen, and noone is impressed at how quick Gears 2 came out, If it was Uncharted 1 in this position, I would be impressed, Uncharted 2 is a sequel, 2 years is more than enough time to complete a sequel, in fact i'd say 2 years is the norm for good sequels.

If Americans could send a man to Mars when the moon landing took place I would be impressed too, but sometimes you have to take into account of reality.

I would not be impressed if America sent a man to Mars today. in 1969 when we landed on the moon, I bet people were wondering where would we be 50 years from now, the answer? we were more capable of going to MArs in 1969 then we are today. Anyways, the mission to Mars would be more like FF 13 than U2, Everything will have to be built from the ground up to go to Mars much like the FF 13 engine had to be built from the ground up. Uncharted 2 is like going to the moon the second time with the same ship, only modifying it to perform better, The first moon landing took 10 years from start to finish. if the US landed on the move again 5 years after appolo, would it be as impressive? of course not, been there, done that.

Like i've said before, Uncharted 2 looks liike a fantastic game, but the development time is pretty typical.
