I think people are complaining about continuity rather than the score itself.
I agree, if a review site uses reasons to knock one game down, regardless of it scoring a 9.3, they simply cant justify beefing a score of another game, a la Gears 2 compared to Uncharted 2.
What i also dont understand is, there are so very few games that are 100% original. Its the overal product, not the sum of its parts that should be reviewed, thus i dont understand.
Based on this logic, a dev could make a completely trash game that no ones ever done and GT would beef its score rather than putting more weight on a dev perfecting the gaming of certain genre?
