Uncharted 2 only took 18 months to be developed

Amazing how they can pump out one of the best games this gen in under 2 years, when it takes games like FF XIII (6 years) and GT5 (5 years)...

FF 13 and GT5 also didn't have their entire graphics engine built already and assets from a previous game on the same platform to use. They also didn't have the gameplay fundamentals already done.

It's easier to make sequels. case in point: Gears 2, Halo ODST, Mass Effect 2, Super Mario Galaxy 2.

U1 suffered the blow of being rushed.

Link? How was it rushed? It seems pretty polished to me.

I would also like to know, it's probably one of the best polished, non rushed seeming game I've played this gen.
