Well, as so of you may remember, I was one of the defenders of the PES brand in the PES vs FIFA threads that arose some months ago. I still love PES, and i'm getting it for PC as a Birthday gift at the end of the month. But FIFA has won me over and just bought it today for the PS3.
It was thanks to the demo that it happened. At first i didn't pay much attention to it, just played one or two matches and i quitted it. That was because i was playing FIFA in the PES way. Recently, the past week i decided to give it another go, this time playing it as a proper FIFA game, and it happened. All the small nuances, the tight players control, the almost perfect teammates AI, and the superb feint animations are the best i've ever seen on a football game. Congrats to EA, they have indeed created the best football experience available on a gaming medium ;) I have to yet to play PES 10 as the whole game, but if the demo is of any indication, FIFA 10 is indeed better than PES 10.
