PC all the way. The 360 version was an excellent attempt, but failed in many areas as it was hampered by the hardware -- it's major issues are primarily the controls and the graphics (which have texture issues all over the place, and often lag). Sure, the game plays on 360, but it's a horrible experience, by comparison. And, yes, I've played both (own the PC version and completed it 2 times; played and completed the 360 version at a mate's house when baby-sitting, which was a bit of an eye-opener as it was far poorer than I expected, but I got him some extra achievements, and it was still fun enough).
Oh, and the first DLC is free on PC (I've not bothered to check out the second one, as the first was so uninspiring).

What is horrible to you is only a minute issue when considering its still the same game. It still looks great on the 360. If this guy can afford to fix up his computer to 1080p and get a expensive graphics card, then do be it. |

I was talking about the manner in which he was talking about experiencing said game. 1080p monitors dont usually come standard unless its apart of an expensive computer package going over $999 as well.

If so inclined, you can pick up a monitor like the LG 23" 1920x1080 monitor for $230 (that's the one I want to pick up sometime). As for video cards, a ~$100-150 (depending on deals and where you look) 9800gt, 4850, or 4870 would be okay. Obviously it depends on the game (as the RE5 benchmark ran well on my 8800gt at 1920x1080 with everything at max), but not like you need to display the max resolution anyway.
If you want that resolution, outputting my PC to the HDTV produced amazing results at 1280x720. A game like Mass Effect looked so much better on that than on a CRT.
