It's incredibly pathetic, but is it really any worse than the very non-peaceful Kissinger or Arafat winning it? Besides, Al Gore already won it on the basis of sheer celebrity worship.

But... at least those people won their Nobel Peace Prize after either working for several years towards something, or accomplishing something tangible. What did Obama accomplish to promote peace?
