Now you may be right with the Blu-Ray functionality; (Although you can get a Blu Ray player for sub $200 now) however, Sony and Microsoft will be advertising new titles and new offers for the 2009 holiday season. I live in Europe. An ad in NA =/= to an ad worldwide. Here where I live, many people will check specs of a console and what it incorporates to determine what to buy. Marketing campaigns will only serve to point out highlights. Right now checking specs and libraries could lead people to lean more to the PS3 don't you think?
