Neither sales or reviews are good for measuring quality. They can only measure public perception. The degree either of those can be useful in that aspect is also limited.
In any case I think customers are being taken for granted now. I don't think any of the companies are trying as hard I want them to. I think their all kinda just coasting right now. There is none of the intensity that was around during the 2nd and 4th generations. It's pathetic really.
