I'm not the best person to on these things but I know there are a few things you should specify:
- How much would you like to spend?
- What size TV are you looking for?
- How far away do you sit from your TV (helps determine the size and resolution)?
- Are you looking to purchase a complete home theater setup (surround sound speakers and receiver along with TV and PS3)?
