I feel sorry for the people who bought this game just to be screwed over by Namco. Tecmo is the same kind of company with the Ninja Gaiden series. Hopefully something comes out of the protest against them.

If you buy a console for one game...you're not getting screwed, you made a really terrible decision...$400 or whatever  for a game you love?!?!  That's riddiculous...

My comment has nothing to do with people buying a console for one game.  It has to do with the devs making a crappy/buggy game and releasing it w/ full knowledge that it is going to be improved and upgraded for a later release.  They knew they were going to do this; they have unused code on the Xbox version which they decided to cut out and then put it only on the newer version.  To boldy state that they took the money with full knowledge of what they plan on doing and basically not caring about the people who support them is why I hope something comes of this.  What Tecmo does with the Ninja Gaiden series is pretty much the same.

All these Capcom releases are similar, but they are bascially just milking everything.  RE5 Alternate Edition (?), now a new release with a new extended side campaign; Super SFIV (or whatever the new version is), then it will keep going until Super SFIV ultra alpha turbo championship edition.  As long as they release it as DLC for all the systems it will not be bad, but so far all I've read is that they will both be released only as full versions and at full prices (hopefully that is not true).  They need to take a page from Bethesda and Rockstar.

As for buying a console for one game, I don't think it is reasonable, but it's not my money.  If they think it is worth it and they insist on it, then who am I to tell them what to do with their money.  I've made purchases that some people may question, but guess what it's not their decision.
