I wouldn't mind as much if games consoles were commodities like MP3 players and cell phones. If Apple or some other company did make a console that played games that would work on other consoles I be all for that. Seeing how as the main differentiator for these consoles is the games I can say that they aren't.
I don't think anyone should get out of the industry. I do think that the industry sucks in this state though.
