Would it not make more sense to make it at 8-point system or even a 10-point system so people that participate at least get a point out of it? There will be no difference if a person races and gets 6th-8th and if they don't race at all with the way you have it. Maybe something like this? 1st = 10 pts 2nd = 8 pts 3rd = 6 pts 4th = 5 pts 5th = 4 pts 6th = 3 pts 7th = 2 pts 8th = 1 pts |
I was trying to keep it fairly real for what reality has for F1 etc.
The only thing that worries me is if First has 10 and last has 1 that is a 9 point gap rather than a 6 point gap. It would keep the championship tighter with less of a gap. But hey I'm open for suggestions. And the like. What do others feel comfortable with?
