Wow, what is it recently? 360 / PS3 fans arguing about everything since the Slim hit (I mean worse than usual).
on CoD4 IW had development team on each console, neither was the lead and they had the PC guys as well. The result? Game was the same (minor differences in rendering due to different GPUs, etc) on 360 / PS3.
Online was also the same in my experience. Both could show lag, etc. depending upon where you where, connection, other players, etc. I have seen no evidence that, in equal circumstances, online wouldn't perform equally well.
The only difference I saw was the slightly better party/online elements Live offered, which were nice but certainly not a huge difference.
With WaW, I saw the 360 version turn out slightly better, which I expected from Treyarch (not IW developed remember) although their PS3 skills (not doubt aided by better cross-platform engine from IW for CoD4) looked to have much improved from their fairly rubbish job on PS3 version of CoD3.
Online I saw the same as with CoD4 - worked fine depending upon variable elements and no major difference.
So, can someone tell me why there is any reason to suppose that IW haven't taken the same approach for MW2 - i.e. no lead platform, separate focused teams, goal of delivering parity across each system with a slightly buffed PC version?
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
