I don't think they're saying they hate their customers who buy used games.  They're decreasing the value of the used product.

Can you still buy Forza 3 used?  Yes.  Will you still be able to buy this stuff even with a used version of Forza 3?  Probably -- it's a pretty good guess, anyway.  Will this decrease the value of used versions of Forza 3?  Absolutely.

Right now, Gamestop sells used games for $5 less than the going rate for the new copy of the game.  That's crap, really.  They should be selling it for much less, and tactics like this /will/ decrease the value of used games.

And it screws people without Internet connections, but they don't mind that apparently.
