I heard what truly hurt the review scores of Demons Souls was the story board. Dragon Age will have an extremely deep story arch with various directions. The gameplay already looks great with control over four players of different  classes, the delivery and voice acting seem top notch as well. I agree that Demon Souls is probably great but I have to play it and with all the games coming out I hope to buy it soon.

Actually DS tells a great story. This game shows a perfect example of how a video game can tell a story.

DS tells its story through its fantastic gameplay and immersion.

I understand these days but telling a story through mainly though gameplay and  immersion alone can render a game generic. Thats probably why the game didn't score like 9.5 and so on and so forth. It looks like a great game at its core for sure though.

The game is very hard, but not unfairly so; each time you die, you'll learn a bit more about the level, and you'll be able to progress a bit further. I was very surprised with what I found in Demon's Souls.

Its appeal may be niche, but for those who appreciate a challenging and ultimately very rewarding game in a genre that's poorly represented not only on the PS3 but in this entire console generation, Demon's Souls is an absolute must have.

waplaw ! I haven't tried it so i'm not gonna comment. But you haven't either stage. So frankly, you have no idea how good it is. Sure you've gotten an impression. But still.
