It really doesn't matter if natal cost 100 or even 200 dollars, the only thing that matters is marketing. If Natal comes bundled with an amazing game that millions of people are interested in, greatly enjoy playing and soon become very addicted to, it'll be an instant success. MS could market it the same way they did Rockband ; buy this awesome game, which comes with all these useful expensive accessories. I never thought someone would actually pay $170 for one game and a set of peripherals that can only be used with that type of game, but millions of consumers disagree. If both avid and casual gamers are willing to spend that much money on one genre of gaming, why would they mind spending that same amount on a device which could be used for several different types of games ( and at some point social networking) (MS's version of home) |
That's a great post my friend.
OT: Doesn't matter what it starts at, I will buy it when it is $100 or less.
