Come on. It doesn't matter that a lot of the conversations on VGC only pertain to consoles, you are still ignoring the games available on the PC.

Hardly, if a person were to say the game is not a PLATFORM exclusive, they would be right, but 90 percent of the conversations that take place here and in other forums, even among friends and colligues, are refering to games that can be played exclusively on one gaming console. And that is why the OP is wrong.

Go to a pc gamer website and you will find 90% of the conversation there refers to PC games. That doesn't mean you can ignore console games. They still exist.

Never said they didn't, but many PC gamers feel that the PC is a gaming console...which it is not, anyway, look at my above explanation.

Perhaps if the sales of PC games were easier to track then we would see more PC related activity on here.

That would still not change the fact that many conversations (which is what the OP is refering to, sales conversations on this site) are about "Console Exclusives".

Console exclusive is a term that you can use. But you have to get to a point before you can use it with any relevence. Encompass gaming as a whole and then narrow down your categories.

There is a destinct diferance between "console exclusive" and "multiplat exclusive" Console exclusive is more relevant because as I said before, most people asking about what games are exclusive to a console, are not looking at the PC as a viable gaming option for themselves. Also, most sales conversations do not factor in the PC game sales to total game sales... and if they do, they should not,mainly because you cannot claim a game does not count as a console game, and yet, take all it's sales numbers to bolster your own.

You can't use the term console exclusive in a broad sense because it ignores other gaming avenues such as the PC.

Actually, it is you who wants to use "Console Exclusive" in a broad term, I narrowed it down for you, the PC does not fit the Console parameters, and therefore does not fit the term "Console Exclusive"

That is very true, but see, the problem here is, they are right, and you don't like that. Tough, you CANNOT try to redefine a word so a group of fanatics doesn't get their way, that actually makes YOU a fanatic, and puts YOU down to their level.

It's sad, and reeks of desperation when used in the wrong context.

Which is why I would advise you not to use the terms "Console Exclusive", and "Multiplat Exclusive" interchangeably.
