There are so many good games these days, that yes, I'd rather wait an extra year for the good version. I think a lot of gamers feel the same way.
Considering this is a long-standing trend with 360 "exclusives", that's definately a mark against buying 360 software at all, in my book, unless the PS3 version comes out at the same time, and is terrible by comparison. Since that situation doesn't happen very often any more, the 360 beta-box is looking mighty lame these days. MS should stop shoving money at dev studios, with the "push it out the door early, and stamp 'XBox 360 exclusive' on it.. for a while." If they buy a dang exclusive, they need to pay full price, and get a decent game out of it. I'm tired of the exclusive betas. I won't fall for it again. |
Yeah really, isn't an early access beta supposed to be free? I seem to remember most companies not charging for the demo before the game is released. And some of those beta games really do have almost as much content as the full game too. These 360 "timed exclusives" are not much different.
