"Ugh, where to begin, All of you completely missed what I said MULTIPLE times, WINDOWS IS A MICROSOFT PLATFORM, NXE IS A WINDOWS PLATFORM, GAMES RUN ON EITHER ARE RUN ON A WINDOWS PLATFORM. The PC itself is not a MS platform, but then, you are all confusing the PC hardware and the MS OS. Many (if not all) ports cannot be run on anything but windows (natively) and are, therefore, a MS exclusive. This of course is IF you really believe that a PC is a console."

You said it best yourself. The PC is a standalone platform in itself, even though MS contributes to it. So yet again.. a game that is released on multiple platforms is a multiplatform application/software/game.

Otherwis, like i said. World of Warcraft would be a Microsoft exclusive. Because you cant play it on a PS3. Call up blizzard and ask them what they feel about that.

Also;

"Cross-platform is a term that can also apply to video games released on a range of video game consoles, specialized computers dedicated to the task of playing games. Examples of cross-platform games include:

Each has been released across a variety of gaming platforms, such as the Nintendo GameCube, PlayStation 2, Xbox, personal computers (PCs), and mobile devices."

I don't see how something can be exclusive when its on multiple platforms, just because one company is invested in multiple areas of video game. Computers is one platform, consoles is another platform, mobile devices is one platform and handhelds in one platform. Its defined as such all over the internet and in dictionaries. So just because a company is active in multiple areas, dosen't make a game "made up word"-exclusive. Thats just a word to boost your "fanboy exclusive" list. And everyone knows it.
