Jaggedsac is 100% correct, however, there is a type of camera that has two lenses in it. These are called TLRs as opposed to single lens SLRs, and have the advantage of being quieter and having reduce shutter lag, due to having 1 less moving part. However, in this camera the light travels through both lenses before hitting the photosensitive area
