Not.... exactly.
It's more like he's talking about we'll be able to copy our memories over into a format where they'll never deteriorate and we can experience them as clearly as we have ever been able to remember.
He IS talking about transhumanism, which is what being a cyborg is, but I kind of like the idea of being able to hold my breath for four hours.
