Multiplat games rate lower on PC because of higher standards.

Not always. Not usually. However, forgive me for generalizing earlier. Usually games on PC are released later, and with many bugs at launch. This is because of a thing called non-uniform hardware. You see, developers can't optimize games to everyone's rig, so sometimes they miss large bugs that have to be ironed out with a thing called a "patch." When a game is in review code, it doesn't have patches yet, and thus, gets reviewed on the bugged code.

Some games are better on the console, because they don't exist on PC. They are called "exclusives."

"AAA" titles on consoles are actually pretty shitty PC games (Halo?).Epic

Sorry, but the better games and players are on PC, period.

Oh, so you're an elitist who digs ignorant genralizations. I'm glad that you called me ignorant earlier, becuase now that statement has become ironic.

Forgive me, but I'm probably a better player than you at Tekken. Does that make me a better gamer in general? Hmm. interesting. I certainly am more skilled at posting, but then again, I do have a PC, and I play games on it, like The Sims, and World of Warcraft. That is my badge to leetness. My mom plays Peggle on the PC. She must be better than the gamers at Evo, as well. Because it's much easier to own someone at a preplanned, uniform technique based strategy game, than it is to win a championship at Evo.

You really think that twitch gameplay is only relevant on PC? You know there is a country called Japan right?

The games aren't dumbed down (Civ IV vs Civ Rev) and the skill level is higher(lol, skill level is higher) (Quake/Starcraft vs Halo(Virtua Fighter vs Spore?)).  There's a reason PC players stick to certain games(Yep, only exclusives available) - maybe cause a lot of games coming out nowadays that are tailored for consoles(yep, because consoles have beomce popular during the PCs decline, and the games sell really well too, without piracy) really just suck(huh? You'd rather be playing another RTS than LBP?) or have been done better before(nope, they've been done before, not "better" generally. Hardware's improved. Comeon PC fan, graphics and functionality are your talking points, not mine)?

I'd say the taste of PC gamers is much better(because you're a biased PC fan(?)) cause they don't automatically suck up every crappy game(ignorance) just because it's recent/hyped, unlike console gamers(I'll give it to you on that one, PC gamers don't really hype either one of their exclusives.).

Ok, wow. I'm glad you weren't actually going to posting something good. After your silent indignation, I was actually worried that you might be someone to worry about.

Fortunately, you have succeeded in making the most ignorant, and elitist post on this thread, and further marginalizing, stereotyping, and generalizing the fringe beliefs of the common biased PC fan.

Good work. Maybe next time, you can write my argument for me. You're the best player on my team.

Lol you think posting and chatting is a skill?  That's pretty sad, maybe you should play MMORPGs where you can put that to use.

Sorry, but I'm not a noob to fighting games either.  I know how it goes at higher levels, it becomes pretty braindead/broken where only top tier/abusive strategies are used.  I don't complain, but then again I don't think it's worth my time to learn the execution to do 100% V-ism jump-cancelled combos in A3, and then when broken shit gets patched out every complains because they can't abuse it anymore.  Which is interesting to see Capcom charging the price for a new game that they themselves admit as broken instead of patching up.

The Halo guys are good, no doubt, but they are playing in the kiddie pool by virtue of their controller.  They would probably be good at PC games too, maybe not top but those guys would be fairly decent.

And I feel sorry for you if you think Halo is a great game.

BTW, not me but hilarious:

He isn't even that good.

When everyone is using controllers how does it make them play in the kiddie pool? If anything your PC pro's are playing in the kiddie pool since Halo pro's are making more money than your pc players. T2 in one year makes 2 million dollars, and thats just one of the many pro's. Lets see how your PC pro's do if you make them play with a controller, I'm guessing for the most part they would struggle to get even a single kill. Give Halo pro's a keyboard and mouse and they could probably get a few kills on the pc pro's cause k&b is so easy to use.

How does showing someone using a K&b owning people with controllers prove anything? No one said k&b was worst than a controller.

If you don't think Halo is a great game then I feel sorry for you because you must not understand the concept of fun when playing videogames. See how stupid your blanket statements are.

You are seriously deluded if you think console pro-gaming is anywhere near PC pro-gaming. Starcraft is freaking a national sport! Last year the finals of one of the top SC competitions had over 100k people watching inside a stadium!!!

Console pro-gaming is boiled down to just:
Halo 3
Street Fighter
Guitar Hero

While on PC it's:
Starcraft
Counter-Strike
WoW
FIFA
Warcraft 3
Trackmania
Quake 3
Dota
etc...

People don't want to watch console games because it's slow and shallow (except racing and fighting games). Watching a Counter-Strike or Quake match is thousands of times better than a Halo match that is 50% slower and has less depth. Maybe that's why they removed Halo 3 from this year's WCG.

Let's summarize this PC vs Console pro-gaming thing: Starleague > All Console competitions combined.
