It's an experiment to test the potential audience for digital distribution, with a price point aimed at early adopters.
Therefore it didn't flop and it is by design divorced from previous models. People (like me) with PSP's need to realize that, whatever we wanted, the Go! is not designed to complement our current PSP or even allow us to use games we've bought already.
It was kind of fun watching Sony scrabble to see if they could solve that when they realized a lot of PSP owners were interested in a Go! so long as they could transfer bought games, but I figured they'd let the effort die quietly, it would have been a nightmare to actually make work.
Anway, I know that kind of sucks, but the truth is the Go! is for new owners or people who will only buy digital going forward and lean on their old PSP for older games.
That's just the way it is, no point complaining.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
