Yeap, again third party is coming in pretty weak. But getting this late in the game with the 360 going over 4 years and the PS3 at 3 It's gonna be harder to find exclusive games to either system that aren't first party. Why? Well It's simple to port from one system to another and development costs are getting cheaper with the consoles being out longer. Not only that theres much more sales potential putting it on both systems. I think if anything we'll see a lot more timed exclusives if MS shells out some more cash.
Next year will be much better, not just because of a rare exclusive offering from Ubisoft that is bound to please (Splinter Cell Conviction) but because of Natal. Since Natal will have It's own control design it won't be on other systems. Since Kojima loves it so much maybe we'll get our first Virtua Metal Gear ;)
It's just that simple.
