obviously not, but online outlets didn't get a huge boost on the wii in japan.. if that's an indication of anything, they did get a huge boost in the America's and UK.

And Wii probably didn't get a huge boost in Japan, but that doesn't indicate that PS3 sales improved, or that PS3 outsold the Wii, in fact if you look at Amazon japan, DSi isn't in the top 10 yet we know that sells far better than the PS3, so I wouldn't use online retailers as a measure.

I think a reason for low Wii sales in Japan this week in spite of the price cut and Wii fit plus is timing, Console sales tend to dip in October the past two years, Wii was in the 20K's at this time of the year, and people are likely holding off purchases until December
