I used to get dc`ed from PSN all the time, with wired connection.
Upgraded router firmware (didn't help), then I put the console on a static IP, set MTU of both router and PS3 manually to 1500 and put the PS3 IP in the router's DMZ.
Don't know which one of those really did the job, but the PS3 connection is stable now.
