Dunno how the Wii handles it, but on the 360 you put in a disc and that's it.

If you download patches (which aren't necessary apart from online gaming) it takes about 10 seconds on the 360 regardless of the internet connection. (Don't know why, but they seem to be very small)

If you can find a Wii setting that loads the game right after pressing the Power button, I would love to know about it.

ps3 games usually do that :p sure it jumps into the os first but thats only a few seconds. If you can't spare those then you're too much in a hurry.
