It would physically take up more space inconviniencing me even more, forcing me to pirate it. Piracy is a lot more about convenience than it is about the money to be honest. Also how would you deal with settings and stuff? You'd have to write to the CD every time you make the smallest change, that seems far more problematic than it should be. P.S. When it come to morallity though trade-ins are worse then piracy. When I trade in, not only do I deprive money from the developer, I actually make money out of it, which they should have gotten. With piracy when I sahre I get nothing out of it. In tha way trading is far worse morally than piracy. I will pirate a game before I buy it used. |
So then get a third drive, or a fourth. You know the point I'm making, so stop fighting me on it. All your other concerns seem to work just fine on consoles.
Regarding paragraph 2, you could give your used game away to someone making no money off of it. You can also charge people for pirated backups. So let's no get into that argument. It can work both ways.
